Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary

The Boating is conducted at 5 Time intervals currently - The boating intervals are 7.30 Am, 9.30 Am, 11.15 Am, 1.45 Pm, 3.30 Pm.

Suggest Seating - Upper deck of the boat - The forest department does not sell tickets seat wise and it sold for the boat capacity. So early reporting would help to get the Upperdeck seats.
During the boating, we would have the opportunity to spot the animals roaming in the Sanctuary but it's not guaranteed as animals freely roam inside the Sanctuary.
The reporting time is 30 minutes at the Boat Landing before the departure time mentioned in the Ticket. As private vehicles are not allowed inside the sanctuary currently, so suggest reporting at the Sanctuary entrance gate to board the Buses organized by the Forest department.
The forest entry ticket is not part of the boating Ticket and it needs to be purchased separately from the forest Information office.
In case you have not booked the boating tickets online, tickets can be purchased at the Forest Information centre depending on ticket availability. Currently, The offline tickets issued only 90 minutes before the boating time and s form need to be filled with all contact details.
